Originally written and recorded by Richie Havens in 1969 and successfully covered by Brian Auger and Julie Driscoll on their Streetnoise album of the same year. Not a track I was very familiar with, but Pete insisted we give it a try. Having recorded some initial parts I’m very glad we persevered with it.
